Meet the team!

BEN GERRARD – CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Our biggest new appointment is Ben, our new Creative Director. He’s taken over from Chris Rudd, who steered Northstar’s creative work for more years than we care to remember, and who decided to retire at the end of 2016.

Ben is one of the North-West’s most experienced art director/designers, having worked in several leading agencies and freelanced for a number of years, winning several awards along the way. And one of Ben’s first tasks on joining Northstar? Redesigning our office interiors!

MARK EVANS – DESIGNER/ARTWORKER

One of Ben’s first appointments to strengthen the new-look Creative Department has been to bring in Mark, a real artwork pro who’s been active on the Manchester agency scene for many years. He brings a wealth of experience, and his skills will no doubt prove invaluable across all our accounts.

EMMA O’GORMAN – ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Our second Emma joined Northstar towards the end of 2016 having worked in several marketing roles. Having studied digital marketing, as well as account management her role is to develop and manage social media campaigns and support the AM team working across all our clients.

EMMA RUSSELL- SENIOR ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Emma’s one of our not-so-new faces, and will be familiar to many of our clients – she’s been an integral part of our Account Management team for five years, but has now been promoted to Board Director to strengthen our management team across all disciplines.

SIMON CHAPMAN – ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

Simon brings an exceptional level of experience to Northstar and perhaps a different perspective for our clients in the building materials sector, having been one himself! Simon’s spent 15 years working with some of the UK’s leading business to business companies, and was previously Head of Marketing at IKO plc.
